One Touch Espresso

Designing a one button espresso machine

As part of a project I did for an industrial design elective at Massey University, we were tasked with designing a home espresso machine. Rather than simply make a good looking typical machine, I decided to focus on the usability of home espresso machines to see where their designs could be improved for ease of use, and sustainability. This project was a finalist in the best awards. ☕️

EightyOne is the largest independent creative agency in Wellington. I helped them bring their new website to life in Webflow, including a fun hero animation and infinite scroll case studies

Init

I was hired to build a website for local music gigs in Wellington and help people find events near them. Init is currently in private beta.

Augmented Reality

I used Augmented Reality to prototype form quicker than building real life models, for instance times that I couldn't be in the workshop. I used Fusion 360 to model my designs, and Substance Painter to texture them. Finally, I exported them as a .USDZ file and can share to people to be visualised in their own spaces, in life size. AR mode only works on iPhones and iPad.
